Hello! My name is Michael Barber. I am an Air Force veteran, a full-time communicator, and a part-time tennis teaching professional. These roles define how I serve my country and my community, but they are not my primary identity. More importantly, I believe in Jesus for his promise of everlasting life, which provides the purpose for everything I do.

I fell in love with the sport of tennis during my high school years in Whitney Point, New York. In June 1995, I began teaching tennis full-time, helping many students in Broome County, New York and Berks County, Pennsylvania.Following the tragic events of 9/11, I felt compelled to join the U.S. Air Force, which ended my 10-year, full-time teaching career. However, during and after my nine years in the military, I have spent more than 20 years teaching tennis on a part-time basis.Tennis Credentials

Faith alone in Jesus Christ alone guarantees eternal life for anyone who believes in Him for it. The gift of eternal life can never be lost—once saved, always saved.Jesus' death and resurrection provide forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and eternal life.
